Dreams
by Stuart and Linda Macfarlane
If dreams could be bought,
I would surely buy for you,
Bobbles wrought from sparkling stars,
To light up your golden hair,
Dresses woven from vibrant rainbows,
To fill each day with colour,
Shoes shaped by the magic of fairies,
To dance a jig for you.
But most of all, of all the dreams,
That I would buy for you,
Is the dream of happiness,
To last your whole life through.
